HOW TO SMOKE YOUR FIRST CIGAR

Step 1 — THE CUT: Use a sharp double-guillotine cutter. Slice just above the shoulder of the cap. Never bite the end off.

Step 2 — THE TOAST: Hold a butane torch or wooden match about 1 inch from the foot. Rotate slowly until the entire rim glows red. Never let the flame touch the tobacco directly.

Step 3 — THE DRAW: Sip the smoke gently into your mouth. Do NOT inhale into your lungs. Hold it briefly, taste the flavors, then blow it out slowly.

Step 4 — THE PACE: One puff every 60 seconds. Smoking too fast makes the cigar burn hot and bitter. Slow down and enjoy it.

Welcome to the club. Keep it burning slow.
